Product Description

Dulux Professional Interior A300 Primer (water-based) is suitable for all types of interior masonry surfaces. The primer enhances topcoat opacity and provides alkali resistance for putty and topcoat application.

Application Description

Apply 1 coat of Dulux Professional Interior Primer A300 and let it dry for 2-3 hours.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Lift with care – gross weight exceeds 10kg. Wear eye/ hand protection. Do not breathe vapors/spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Store in a cool and shaded place. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Do not empty into water course. Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Treat any area affected by mold, lichens, algae or moss with Dulux Aquashield PreTreatment Coat. Previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and then dust off.
    After priming new surfaces with Dulux Professional Interior A300 Primer, fill the surface with Dulux Professional Interior A300 Putty. Please refer to PDS of Dulux Professional Interior A300 Putty for correct application procedure and drying time properties. For best results apply one coat of primer again over wall putty.
    Powdery, dusty and cracked surfaces: Repair minor defects in the wall using sand whereas for larger holes and cracks use cement mix. Allow the surface drying time. Prime surface with Dulux Professional Interior A300 Primer. Scuff surface using abrasive paper and dust off and then fill any surface imperfections with the Dulux Professional Interior A300 Putty.
