Product Description

Dulux Professional WeatherShield E1000 is a high quality, premium exterior paint that protects your home from damaging effects of all types of weather. It is powered with Smart Release Technology which gives advanced protection against algae and fungus that is caused by the sun and rain. Backed by a 7 Year weather protection warranty, Dulux Weathershield also comes with Keep Cool Technology that reduces the surface temperature and keeps your homes cooler by 5 degrees.

Application Description

Apply 3-4 coats of Dulux Professional Weathershield E1000 with 2-3 hours of interval in between coats. Thinning ratio must be followed as per application procedure.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc. of paint films may generate hazardous dust and/or fumes. Wet sanding/ flatting should be used wherever possible. Work in well ventilated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment. Lift with care – gross weight exceeds 10kg. Wear eye/ hand protection. Do not breathe vapors/spray. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Remove as much paints as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Store in a cool and shaded place. Container must be in a secure, upright position and be tightly closed. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of contact with skin wash immediately with soap and water or a proprietary skin cleanser. Do not use solvents or thinners. Do not empty into water course. Safety data sheet available for professional/ user on request.

Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New or bare surfaces: New or bare surfaces must be clean, dry and free from efflorescent salts. Sand the surface with suitable sand paper or sandstone to make the plaster surface smooth. Dust off throughly. For best result apply a single coat of Dulux Professional WeatherShield E1000 Primer (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure). Let the surface dry for 2-3 hours and apply topcoat.
    If more smoothness is required after priming with Dulux Professional WeatherShield E1000 Primer, fill the surface with Dulux Exterior Acrylic Putty (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure). Let the surface dry for 2-3 hours. Sand the surface with suitable sandpaper, dust off and apply a single coat of Dulux Professional WeatherShield E1000 Primer (Refer to PDS for correct application procedure) before application of topcoat.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use
