Product Description

Dulux Professional Solitaire A900 is a premium water based, high quality durable and
washable emulsion paint with rich matt finish. It is suitable for all normal interior masonry
surfaces including particle board, fiber and insulation boards.

Application Description

Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush followed by water jetting if required. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compounds while painting an exterior surface. Application of one coat of Aquatech Pre-treatment coat is recommended for better performance of the paint.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint fims may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should bo used wherever possible. Work in well ventiated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment Wear eye/hand protection Do not breathe vapour/spray Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning Avoid release to the environment Collect spillage Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed Store in a cool and shaded place Container must be in a secure, upright positon and be tightly closed In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with $0ap and water ora propristary skin cleanser. Tips & Advice

  • 1. Preparing the Surfaces
    New concrete/plaster surface should be allowed to mature properly. Ensure that
    the surface is clean, dry, free from all loose particles, dust, dirt, grease, wax etc.
    before application. All surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable
    abrasive paper and thereafter wiped off. Suitable remedial measures should be
    taken in case of water seepage/leakage problems. Fungus affected areas need
    separate treatment. For previously painted surfaces strip all the paint before
    starting the above process.
  • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use
  • 3. Storing
    Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
