Coverage The spreading capacity of this product will vary considerably according to the roughness and porosity of the surface. On smooth surface of low porosity- 400-450 grams / m2 / 2 coats These figures are only an approximation guide. Due to variation in different surfaces, the coverage may vary. It is recommended to do a coverage trial before finalizing the paint requirement.

Product Description
ingress of carbon dioxide thereby protecting steel reinforcement in concrete from corrosion.
It is designed to be applied in two coats for protection of concrete substrates in a range of
environments. Powered by the unique Carbon Shield Technology, it provides excellent all
weather protection with its High DFT paint film. This coating also conforms to the MORTH*
specification for Anti Carbonation coatings.
Application Description
Freshly Plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely. It is recommended to allow at least 12 weeks as the curing time for new masonry surfaces. Please ensure pH level between 7 & 9 before painting.
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required.
If after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the surface still exhibits chalkiness, it should be coated with WS Sealer E1000 (recommended) or Exterior Sealer E900. For areas severely affected by algae or fungus application of Pre-Treatment coat is recommended.
Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound.
Weathershield Express should not be applied to the surfaces or substrates which are exposed to continuous seepage or dampness. For best adhesion performance, the moisture content in the wall should not exceed 10%
Application Tools
By roller, brush or conventional/airless spray.
DilutionDilute 1 lit of paint with 300-400 ml of water for brush application and 250ml of water for roller application. In case of dark colors, dilute 1 lit of paint with a maximum of 250ml of water.
Note: Excessive dilution from that recommended will result in low coverage and may impact application properties and colour.
