Product Description

Dulux Professional Weathershield Creation Sandtex are formulated with special materials
such as mineral crystals that give them unparalleled toughness and durability, making them
a perfect choice for exteriors and interiors. Their high consistency and filling properties
allow them to hide the surface imperfections.

Application Description

Surface Preparation

Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush followed by water jetting if required.
Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3.
Avoid application of putty or filling compounds while painting an exterior surface.
Application of one coat of Pre-Treatment coat is recommended for better performance of the paint.
Application Tools

By roller, brush , trowel or conventional / airless spray (0.5mm to 3mm)

Dilution
No thinning of the material is recommended for the final coat. But for ease of application a little water can be sprinkled.

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint fims may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should bo used wherever possible. Work in well ventiated areas.     Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
  • 3. Storing
    Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
