Product Description

Dulux Professional Weathershield Sealer E1000 is a high-quality, high performance
Sealer cum primer for external plaster surfaces. It improves adhesion between the wall
and the topcoat, protecting the surface for longer period of time. Its special acrylic
formulation is based on a breakthrough technology, which permeates into the superficial
layer of the wall and seals away surface problems.

Application Description

Surface Preparation

Dry Sanding, flame cutting or welding of the dry paint film will give rise to dust and hazardous fumes. Wet sanding should be used wherever possible. If exposure cannot be avoided by the provision of local exhaust ventilation, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be used.
Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required.Avoid inhalation of dust during cleaning of the surface.
For areas severely affected by algae or fungus, application of Pre-Treatment Coat is recommended.
Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound.
Freshly plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely.

By roller, brush or conventional /airless spray (nozzle size 0.5mm to 0.7mm)

Dilution
Dilute 1 part of Weathershield Sealer E1000 with 1 part of clean water by volume.

Note: Excessive dilution from that recommended will result in low coverage and may impact application properties and color.

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint fims may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should bo used wherever possible. Work in well ventiated areas.     Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
