Product Description

Dulux Professional Weathershield Creation Stonetex is a premium quality water based
texture coating consisting selected natural and synthetic UV resistant coloured stone and
aggregate bound by 100% acrylic polymer. It is durable and has good adhesion. Suitable for
both exterior and interior applications

Application Description

Surface Preparation

Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/stiff coir brush followed by water jetting if required. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. If after thoroughly cleaning the surface, the surface still exhibits chalkiness, the surface should be coated with Dulux Weathershield E1000 Sealer. For areas severely affected by algae or fungus application of Dulux Aquatech Pre-Treatment coat is recommended. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with Dulux Aquatech Range of crack fillers as per requirement / cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound. Weathershield Creation Stonetex should not be applied to the surfaces or substrates which are exposed to continuous seepage or dampness.

Technical & Safety Documentation

Treatments such as sanding, burning off etc of paint fims may generate hazardous dust and other fumes. Wet sanding/flaming should bo used wherever possible. Work in well ventiated areas. Use suitable personal protection equipment Wear eye/hand protection Do not breathe vapour/spray Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning Avoid release to the environment Collect spillage Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed Store in a cool and shaded place Container must be in a secure, upright positon and be tightly closed In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice In case of contact with skin, wash immediately with $0ap and water ora propristary skin cleanser.   • 2. Cleaning
    Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
  • 3. Storing
    Observe label precautions. Store in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers that have been opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage.
